Short biography

Dr Claire Ellul is a Reader in Geographical Information Science (GIS), specializing in data management, spatial data infrastructures, 3D GIS and GeoBIM.  Current research includes investigating: how 3D City Models can help improve GNSS positional accuracy, and the results obtained by using varying quality models; how 2D and 3D spatial data infrastructures can help better manage earthquake engineering data; generalization of 3D city models; GeoBIM and its use within planning and asset management.
