About the University of Applied Sciences South Western Switzerland (HES-SO)

HES-SO stands for Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale or University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland. Its schools form a rich, interdisciplinary network and are as efficient at delivering study programs as conducting research and providing services. They are well-established in their respective fields and have formed partnerships with a large number of companies and public and private institutions. The HES-SO collaborates with other universities in Switzerland and abroad. It integrates the international dimension into its study programs and encourages student mobility.
